What the record really means

The receipt, not the rights.

RegisterMyQuote is a public timestamp and credit trail. It can show who submitted a line, when they submitted it, what context they gave, and what our scan found. It is not a court, copyright office, trademark filing, or ownership transfer.

What the record can show
  • A line was submitted to RegisterMyQuote at a recorded time.
  • The submitter attached a public name, context, optional source link, and social handle.
  • The line received a fingerprint and public verification page.
  • The scan returned exact, near, similar, or no-close matches from the current library.
What the record cannot do
  • It cannot grant copyright, trademark, legal ownership, or government registration.
  • It cannot prove no similar phrase exists anywhere in the world.
  • It cannot stop other people from using common words or short phrases.
  • It cannot replace an attorney, platform policy, or official filing office.
